FINE CABINETRY

Typical of luxury furniture production in the Brianza district, the artisanal mastery in the use of fine woods and premium materials has accompanied Carpanelli from the past to the present. Historically, fine cabinetry has always been considered part of the so-called “Minor Arts.”
The innovation lies in using a traditional material such as wood in a contemporary way. Today, we work with natural woods that, thanks to innovative staining techniques, achieve sophisticated chromatic effects aligned with current Interior Design trends.

Sustainable woods

Wood is a noble material because it is an integral part of nature. It is the only raw material that continues to grow even while we sleep.

Improving people’s well-being means respecting the richness and uniqueness of our planet.

Timber sourcing and forest management can and must be carried out in accordance with the principles of sustainability and respect for both communities and nature.

We actively contribute to protecting our planet by using reforested wood. Promoting a culture of responsible forest use and operating without disrupting the ecosystem are primary goals that help keep trees a renewable resource. This is one of Carpanelli’s commitments, which is why our company uses wood sourced from FSC-certified forests.

The concept of sustainability applied to forests

Sustainable development is defined as development that meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own.

Timber harvesting follows the natural life cycle of the tree and is linked to the continuous use humanity makes of this renewable, carefully managed natural resource.

The beautiful that respects the environment

Carpanelli primarily uses FSC-certified wood. The FSC label identifies timber sourced from responsibly managed forests that meet strict environmental, social and economic standards.

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international, non-profit organization founded in 1993 to develop an independent accreditation system specifically for the forestry sector. It is globally recognized by organizations such as WWF and Greenpeace.

FSC has created an accreditation and labeling system for forest products that guarantees customers that the product they purchase comes from responsibly managed forests.
