In walnut-tinted maple. The top has a braided inlay design in different woods and mother-of-pearl that frames a pattern of diamond shapes surrounding floral inlays, again in different woods and mother-of-pearl. The legs are veined, highlighted by gold leaf. The relief decorations are also covered in gold leaf.
